Mary Norsworthy

Mary NorsworthyMary is a native Texan who joined Project Transformation in 2005 following her retirement from Siemens Corporation as Contracts Administrator. Following retirement, she had a strong desire to spend the rest of her life in service to God by serving His people. She immediately became immersed in many church activities and local organizations, but still felt she had more to give. Since joining Project Transformation, she has been amazed by the outpouring of love and generosity of God’s people in their own desire to serve Him and to do their part in changing the lives of children and youth – empowering them to one day become awesome adults.

According to Mary, “Fifty-five years ago I said ‘Yes’ to Jesus, five years ago I said ‘Yes’ to retirement from Siemens Corporation, one year ago I said ‘Yes’ to Project Transformation… and I am endeavoring to start each day saying ‘Yes’ to the will of my heavenly Father. One of the most enduring lessons I have learned is to expect the unexpected and, after all these years, I am still changing… still growing. I have been known by several titles in my life and career, but my most important title is Grandma. I have been blessed with two wonderful sons and daughter-in-laws, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.”

Isaiah 60:1
