Meredith Gross began working with Project Transformation in 2007 as an intern at Wesley Rankin Community Center.  She also served as a site coordinator at Pleasant Mound Urban Park UMC in 2008.  While taking a summer off in 2009 to pursue her education, Meredith served eagerly as a volunteer at multiple PT sites.  She is excited to return to the PT community this year as Summer Staff.  A native Texan, Meredith grew up in Georgetown, but now calls Denton home.  She received her BA from Austin College in May 2009 and recently graduated from Austin College with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree.  Through Project Transformation she has found the intersection where her passion for education and developing literacy is met by her passion for working with children and families.   She affirms that her life has been forever changed by meaningful relationships that she has made through Project Transformation, with the kids, peers, staff, churches, and the communities in which she has served.  She is very eager to greet another summer and once again be enthralled in the work that makes her heart feel whole.
