Janalee Shadburn
Janalee joined the Project Transformation team as volunteer coordinator in January of 2007. As a teenager in Northeast Mississippi, Janalee fell in love with urban children's ministry while volunteering with her church youth group. As a college student, she served with inner city ministries in Philadelphia, St. Louis, NYC, and Jackson, MS. She earned a bachelor's degree from Mississippi College and a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University. During her time in seminary, Janalee worked with college students as a Sunday School teacher at University Baptist Church and as a graduate assistant for Baylor's Chaplain. She is ecstatic to be a part of a ministry where all of her passions for the church, for working with college students, and for community ministry meet in one place. As a newcomer to Dallas Janalee enjoys taking in all the city has to offer. She especially enjoys cooking, reading, and going to movies and concerts.
