Hear From Volunteers

“Casa Linda was warm, welcoming and helpful; the interns enthusiastic and wonderful; l and the kids were so sweet. We were blessed by the gift of service and all of the beautiful faces we encountered! Thank you for making this program possible so that we could be there to receive the blessings!”

“This e-mail is prompted by my participation in the Project Transformation Intern dinner that my Sunday School Class at UPUMC sponsored last evening. Having arrived with a huge container of banana pudding, I was not prepared for what I saw: an ocean of eager and hungry interns and staff that blew me away. How massive the Project has become from just about twenty-five interns that first year to feeding more than seventy-five in seven years! The quality of the interns with their compassion, enthusiasm, and commitment to serving God in such a wonderful way is a testimony to God's grace, mercy, and blessing to this fabulous gift in service to the Dallas and surrounding communities.”
-Doris, Dinner Volunteer

“Every year when I come to volunteer, I find that the program is better and better. Returning to the same site year after year, I’ve been able to notice positive changes in participants’ behavior and manner as well as changes in program management. These children are smart and motivated with great potential for success. I’m proud to be playing a role in providing the support that they need to maximize their potential.”
