High School Seek & Serve
Seeking & Serving is a component of the Project Transformation summer program. It offer students completing their high school junior and senior years a mini-internship experience.
Who:
Students who have completed their junior or senior year of high school and are interested in working alongside college interns in the urban communities of Dallas.
When:
One week, Sunday evening - Friday afternoon, during the 8-week summer program. Dates include:
- June 15 - June 20
- June 22 - June 27
- July 6 - July 11
- July 13 - July 18
What:
The Seeking & Serving students will participate in all of the activities of Project Transformation for one week. These include: leading day camp for elementary students, participating in weekly Bible study, eating dinners with the entire group of interns and volunteers, living and interacting with the interns at SMU, and exploring local United Methodist institutions and leadership during a Friday morning field trip.
Cost:
$100 (includes meals and housing)
